Obituary
July 13, 1960 – August 10, 2025
Wanda Frazier passed away on August 10, 2025, at the age of 65.
Wanda Frazier grew up in a large family in Philadelphia and attended Philadelphia Public
Schools.
Wanda will be remembered as colorful—upbeat, funny, and a social butterfly with a great
sense of humor. She loved shopping, pretty things, and wearing brilliant colors. She enjoyed
getting her hair styled in different ways and had a special love for scarves. The ultimate
fashionista, Wanda owned her unique style of dressing up.
“Wanda was a sweet soul.” She was kind and extremely generous. She loved to sing, listen to
music, dance, and indulge in sweets, candy, and good food. Most of all, she cherished the
company of family and friends. Wanda embraced life fully, even while battling lifelong
health issues.
Wanda was a Christian whose faith was in Jesus Christ. She lived a life marked by resilience,
perseverance, and, when she could, joy.
Wanda is survived by her two children, Naira Frazier and Gary Guy Frazier (Shoeboo);
daughter-in-law, Yolanda Parker-Frazier; grandchildren, I’Ziae Frazier, Ayana Naira Parker-
Frazier, and Currin Tymir Parker-Frazier; siblings, Candy Davis, Cheryl Frazier, Sidney
Frazier-Barker, Darryl Frazier, Warren Frazier, and Jamie Frazier; uncle, Carmen Jones; and
aunt, Andrea. She is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends,
and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Tyrone Schultz, and sister, Barbara Banks.
We are grateful to God for our time together and comforted in knowing that Wanda is now
at rest. An intimate gathering of family and friends to celebrate her life will be held at a later
date, with details to be announced.
