Obituary

Walter J Carrico Jr., 77, of Kittanning, PA, passed away Friday, January 16, 2026 surrounded by his family.

Born on May 20, 1948, he was the son of the late Betty (Shick) & Walter Carrico Sr.

Jay enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing Bingo and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Cheryl Ann (Newhouse), daughter Elisa Marie Carrico, siblings Richard, Pauline and Susan.

Jay is survived by daughter Melissa (Ron) Stull, grandchildren Brandon (Katie) Becker, Haley (Dan) Orr, Kaylyn (Jake) Hubert and Cheyenne Hubert, great grandchildren Monroe Becker, Paisley Tantlinger and Kallie Tantlinger, brother Gary Carrico, sister Sandra Ladik and sister in-law Karen Carrico as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family will have a Memorial gathering at a later date.
