Robert Carter "Bob" Tweed, 82, passed away on March 10, 2025, in Camden, New Jersey.

Bob was born on April 13, 1942, in Asheville, North Carolina, to Carter and Belle Tweed. After graduating from A.C. Reynolds High School in Asheville NC, Bob served in the United States Air Force from 1962 to 1966. He earned a bachelor's degree from Trenton State College and later obtained a master's degree from Southern Illinois University.

Bob found great joy in spending time with family and friends. He had an enduring love for music and dancing, always eager to take to the dance floor whenever the opportunity arose. Golf was another passion of his, providing him with both relaxation and friendly competition over the years. Above all he will be remembered for his warmth and enthusiasm for life, often remarking that “life’s an adventure.”

Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol Tweed; his parents, Carter and Belle Tweed; his brother, Michael Tweed; and his nephew, Brian Tweed. He is survived by his daughters, Veronica Chorba (Michael) and Nicole Nitchie (Christopher); his grandchildren, Benjamin Chorba, Addison Nitchie, and Regan Nitchie; his nephew Scott Tweed; and his sister-in-law Bobbie Tweed.
