Marvin R. Vanover, Sr., age 68, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025, in Wayne, Pennsylvania, after many years of living with COPD.

Born on November 26, 1956, in Springfield, Ohio, Marvin brought warmth, laughter, and love to all who knew him. He was a devoted father to his four children: Marvin Jr., Laura, Charles, and Joseph. His legacy lives on through his seventeen grandchildren, who brought him endless joy. He was also cherished by his daughters-in-law—Amanda, Milissa, and Olivia—and his son-in-law, Timo.

Marvin is survived by his sister, Lynn, and his brothers, Keith, Charles, and Matthew, as well as many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his former wife, Joyce, with whom he shared many meaningful years. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, James and Clarice Vanover.

A man of simple pleasures and a big heart, Marvin found peace in the outdoors. He had a special love for fishing and hunting and was always just a phone call away for his children. His family was the center of his world, and he gave them his time, his wisdom, and his unwavering support.

Marvin's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May his legacy of love, resilience, and quiet strength bring comfort and peace to those he leaves behind.
