Kirk P Savarese


April 2, 1956 – January 18, 2025

Kirk P Savarese, 68, of Parsippany, NJ, passed away peacefully at his home on January 18, 2025. He was born on April 2, 1956, in Montclair, NJ, to the late John and Thelma (Kirk) Savarese. He is also predeceased by his sister, Christine Atkinson, and his grandson, Noah Kyler Rosequist-Melgar.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dawn (Stitz) Savarese; his son, Kirk Rosequist and his fiancé, Demi Melgar; his daughters, April Savarese and her husband Brian Brennan, Chanelle Rosequist and her partner Brian Birdsall, and Daisha Green and her husband Robert. He was a devoted grandfather to Paige Van Buren, Austin Van Buren, Nolin Brennan, Liam Brennan, Lia Brennan, Christian Birdsall, Nova Rosequist-Melgar, Noah Kai Rosequist-Melgar, Shyann Cheney, Sioux Fernandez, Pheonix Green, and Cherokee GoodrichStocking. Kirk is also survived by his loving sister-in-law and Brother-in-law Debbie and Ron Cihoski along with his nieces Vanessa Cihoski and Heather Hamman and her Husband Shaun and his great nieces Natalie and Brie Hamman.

Kirk dedicated many years of his career as a supervisor at Catcord Construction. He had a deep love for his coworkers, considering them family. His kindness, loyalty, and unwavering support made a lasting impact on those he worked with.

Beyond his career, he had a passion for old cars and cherished the companionship of his beloved dog, Daisy. He will be remembered for his warm heart, sense of humor, and dedication to his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date and in lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The American Cancer Society.

His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
