In Loving Memory of Kathleen M. Lasch

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Kathleen M Lasch, a beloved mother, Nana, Nana great, sister, aunt, and friend, who left us on June 1, 2025. Born October 13, 1943 she was 81 years old.

Kathy's earthly life has come to a peaceful end, as her soul's journey continues on to the next chapter.

A woman of boundless love, kindness, and selflessness, Kathy had a heart of gold, always willing to help others—even when she had little to give. Leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and selflessness that will never be forgotten.

For 60 years, Kathy devoted herself to her work as a server, touching the lives of countless people with her genuine care and patience. She was known for her unwavering ability to serve others. Her kindness extended far beyond her work as she embraced her role as a devoted mother, Nana, and Nana Great. She cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren, always making sure that Christmas was magical for all, filled with love, laughter, and joy.

Kathy was a strong believer in the importance of family and instilled the values of hard work, togetherness, and fun in all of her loved ones. She ensured that her children were involved in sports, teaching them the importance of teamwork and perseverance, while also showing them how to enjoy the simple pleasures in life.

Her love for bingo and playing games on her computer brought her joy in her later years, but nothing compared to the joy she found in the company of her family and friends.

Kathy leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and generosity. She will be dearly missed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, friends and all who were lucky enough to know her. Kathy's love and compassion will continue to inspire and guide us, and her memory will remain in our hearts forever.

Kathy had a special talent for making ice cream cakes, a tradition she cherished for every birthday celebration. Her homemade cakes, crafted with love, were a sweet reflection of her caring nature, and she delighted in bringing joy to her loved ones in this special way.

Kathy was predeceased by her parents John T. Lasch (Kay) Madeline D. McDermott (Bill) and her companions, Peter K Bottcher and the Don’s ;)
