Obituary

Joyce Peters Bachurski of Oakdale, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday October 5th, 2025. Joyce was born November 3, 1963 to the late Roy Peters and Shirley Peters.

She is also preceded in death by her husband Lee Bachurski who was the love of her life.

Joyce could be found most days enjoying an episode of “Little House on the Prairie” or watching KDKA channel 2 news.

Joyce was known for her kindness, grace, compassion, and especially her love for her family and friends. She is cherished and survived by her three children: Roy Bachurski, Ryan Bachurski (Nicole Jay) and Rachel Bachurski (husband Mark Burnett). Joyce is also survived by her 3 grandchildren: Rylee Bachurski, Bryson Bachurski, and Danny Lee Bachurski who she adored and was called Gigi by all of them.

Joyce also loved spending time with her family either shopping, going to dinner, or just spending and evening enjoying each other’s company.

Joyce’s life can be best encapsulated by four “F” words:

Family, Friends, Food, and Fun. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
