Obituary

John B. Moyer, Jr. passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026. He was born February 23, 1930 in Allentown, PA. He was a loving pop-pop to 15 grandchildren, an engaged father to 7 children and an ever-present husband to his wife, Joan (pre-deceased).

He began his career as a truck mechanic/ driver at Branch Motor Express and enjoyed it so much he continued with other companies long past retirement.

His lifelong love of sun, beach and warm weather kept the family returning to Florida every year. Memorable family vacations to Chincoteague, VA and Locust Lake, PA were highlights to be enjoyed again and again.

He was known as always smiling, upbeat and charming with his Legacy Place "family" as well. His motto of "one day at a time" is engraved in us eternally. He was an active Jehovah's Witness, first with the W. Bethlehem congregation and then with the Orefield congregation. We anxiously await being with him again under the palm tree at his favorite beach in paradise!

He will be dearly missed by his children: Karen, John, Scott, Valerie, Leslie and Collin.
