Jacqueline B Dean, (born Jacqueline Lee Birtwistle) 89
passed away peacefully January 30, 2025 at home
surrounded by loved ones. She was born November 30,
1935 in Jersey City, New Jersey. She later moved to
Nutley, New Jersey where she met and married her 1st
husband, Robert McNeil on January 1, 1957. They
traveled the world and had their four children along the
way. They moved to Hazlet, New Jersey in 1967, where
they raised their children. She took care of her husband,
Robert till he passed. She moved to Middletown area
where she met her 2nd husband Emil Dean married on
February 16, 2008. She took care of Emil till he passed.
Jacqueline was a preschool teacher, bookkeeper and
worked for ARC where she retired. She was always a
loving caring person wanting to help people in any way
she could. She enjoyed traveling, crocheting, Irish
dancing, and being with her family.
She is survived by her 3 daughters Helene Kurynka,
Debbie Card, and Melody McKittrick (Kevin),
grandchildren Jessica Breault (Jon), Jennifer Kurynka,
Scott Gregg, Sean McKittrick (Ashley), Kevin McKitrick Jr.,
Bonnie McKittrick, Brian McKittrick, Kerry McKittrick, and
9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her two
sisters, Carol Greengrove and Kathy Doolittle. As well as
numerous nieces and nephews.
Jackie was preceded in death by her first husband,
Robert McNeil, to whom she was married to for 27 years,
and her second husband, Emil Dean, to whom she was
married to for 10 years. Her parents James and Anna
Birtwistle, her son Robert McNeil (Elsa) and
grandchildren John and Liam McKittrick. She is now
reunited with all of them in heaven.
Memorial Service to be held February 22, 2025 at
Westminster Presbyterian Church at 10 AM.
