Obituary
Grant Nelson Lindaberry, 62
April 5, 1963 – May 14, 2025
Grant Nelson Lindaberry, age 62, passed away on May 14, 2025, in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Born on April 5, 1963, in Aurora, Illinois, Grant moved with his family to Ambler, Pennsylvania at the age of seven and remained in the Philadelphia area for the rest of his life. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth LaNell Lindaberry, his father, Harold Lester Lindaberry Jr., and his older brother, Douglas Lindaberry. He is survived by older brother Kim Lindaberry (David).
Grant worked in a variety of skilled electronic manufacturing and device repair positions, but his true passion was music. A talented musician/bassist/composer, Grant played in several Philadelphia-area rock bands over the years. One of the most notable was Give (1996–97), whose CD received airplay and enthusiastic reviews on Philadelphia’s WYSP and Bethlehem/Allentown’s WZZO rock radio stations. He also performed with bands such as Relative Time, Relayer, Elements, and Witch Hunter, earning a place in the local music scene with his talent and dedication.
Grant had a deep love for the Philly area — especially its great music venues, and legendary Hoagies and Philly Cheese Steaks. He will be remembered for his creativity, his commitment to his craft, and the music he brought to life.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
