Obituary
Gerard Edward "Jerry" Cooper, 57, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, passed away on September 17, 2025.
Born on January 19, 1968, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Jerry was the son of the late Edward and Geraldine Cooper.
He dedicated his professional life to his role as a warehouse supervisor, where his reliability and strong work ethic earned him the respect of those around him.
Jerry was known for his loving nature and sharp wit. His humor left a lasting impression, and his generous spirit shone through in the way he consistently put others before himself. While he was kind-hearted, he never hesitated to share his candid opinions—especially when it came to bad drivers. You always knew if you were going to be around Jerry, you would be laughing.
Jerry fought a tough battle over the last few years but always stayed positive. He was on the kidney transplant list for the last 4 years but was paused due to his amputations. He would be so happy to know that the final gift he made was the donation of his corneas.
He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Dana, his son, Logan, his brother, John (Michelle), his father-in-law and mother-in-law Paul and Lynne Donovel, his sister-in-law Kim (Dave) Kelly, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Cooper, mother, Geraldine Cooper, and cousin, Timothy Cooper.
May Jerry’s memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved him.
At Jerry's request, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made in Jerry's name to Limbs for Life, the American Kidney Foundation or his son Logan's College Fund via gofundme (https://gofund.me/767eb2186)
