Obituary

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Geraldine "Jeri" Dillion (nee Dooley) on Wednesday at Cooperman Barnabas, Livingston NJ. Born in Jersey City she lived in Belleville the past 62 years. She was previously employed with NJ Bell. She is survived by her husband Gerard "Jerry" of 34 years, her sister Nadine Colardeau (Dan), brother Bobby, brother-in-laws Dave (Cathy) , Mark (Nancy) and sister-in-law Mary Jo (Jack). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Robert and Nancy Dooley. Jeri was known for her love of cooking, backyard BBQ's, music and following the Yankees around with her bestie of 50 years Eileen. You knew you would see Jeri when Jerry, a drummer, was playing in one of his bands. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. We would also like to thank Faith and Jonathan from Grace Healthcare for their help and compassion with her peaceful transition. Services will be private.

To Jeri's family and many friends, so very sorry for your loss. My memory of Jeri was with her BFF Eileen. They were inseparable in high school and I'm sure that friendship lasted long after high school. May her many, many memories live forever in your hearts.

I knew Jeri from our Belleville Jr and Sr High School years. Jeri was always a carefree and happy person throughout our time during school years. May she rest in peace and her family be comforted by her memories. Thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
