Obituary

Elizabeth Ann “Liz” Erisman, 77, of Chalfont, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 30, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on May 5, 1949, in Linz, Austria, Elizabeth immigrated to the United States at the age of three and was raised in Washington, D.C. She carried with her a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life, especially cooking and gardening. Whether she was tending to her garden and flowers or preparing delicious, comforting meals for the people she loved, Elizabeth found happiness in creating beauty, caring for others, and bringing people together.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father, Anton Drescher, and her brother, Frank Drescher.

She is survived by her loving mother, Margaret Drescher; her devoted children, daughter Kathleen Sunshine Davis and son Nicholas Sebastian Erisman; her sister, Rosemary Pavlovsky; and her three grandchildren, Margaret Erisman, Nicholas A. Erisman, and Madison Erisman.

Elizabeth will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, the warmth she brought into the lives of those around her, and the many memories she created with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by her family, neighbors, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A Celebration of Life was held to honor her memory.
