Obituary

Cathy Pratt 80, of Great Bend PA, passed away on March 12, 2026,

peacefully with her family by her side, she is now at peace with the lord and

with the love of her life Richie Harendza.

Cathy was born on November 30, 1945, in Livingston Manor, NY and

preceded in death by her parents Irene Mildred Smith and William Charles

Braungard. Also preceded in death her sister Robin Wilson, and brother

Gary Braungard.

She worked as a Home Health Aid for over 30 years, volunteered at St.

Patrick’s Catholic Church and was a foster Grandparent at the YWCA.

Cathy made an impression on many people’s lives and to name a few that

were blessed by her presence were Jess & Frank Greenwood, their two

sons, Mary Jane Homovich, and her dearest best friend of over 25 years

Carol.

Cathy will forever be remembered for her kindness, quick wit, and warm

smile. She had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued. Her

kindness and generosity touched countless lives.

Cathy is survived by her children Lisa Hall, Denise Moppart, Brian Pratt, &

Douglas Wilson. She is survived by two sisters Michelle Gelatt, Penny Wall

and one brother Steve Braungard, nine grandchildren, ten great

grandchildren, and many other loving family members and friends.

We would like to express our gratitude to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, and

to Dr. Hinkley for the loving care that provided for my mom.

A celebration of life will be held for a later date to honor Cathy’s life and

legacy.
