Obituary

Brenda Magerko passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, with her beloved husband, Paul, by her side. After a long and courageous battle with chronic illness, Brenda went to be with her son, P.J., her father, Fred and her soul dog, Sassy.

Brenda was a strong and determined woman who fought her battle with incredible courage. She would want to be remembered not for the illness that took her from us, but for how hard she fought and for how long she never gave up.

She leaves behind her devoted husband, Paul, and her daughter, Mandi, who were at the center of her world. She is also survived by her mother, Barbara, her sister, Wendy,Mother in Law, Gloria, her brothers, Fred and Gary, and many cherished nieces and nephews. She leaves behind her adopted nieces and nephews, her adopted sisters, BethAnn and Norma, and her two amazing granddaughters, Maddy and Gabby. She will also be missed by her beloved granddog, Poppy.

Brenda's life was filled with love, family, strength, and memories that will be carried in the hearts of all who knew her. Though her battle has ended, her love and the mark she left on those around her will never be forgotten.

Rest peacefully, Brenda. You fought long, you fought hard, and you were loved every step of the way.

I am at a loss for words. Brenda was my sister, not by blood but by love. I will miss her dearly. My heart is breaking for Paul and Mandi and Barb and everyone else that was blessed to have had her in their life. May you rest peacefully my friend.
