With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Armando Prata Santos, who left this world peacefully on October 5, 2025.

Born in the beautiful Azores, Armando carried his Portuguese heritage proudly throughout his life. He later became a citizen of the United States, where he spent most of his adult years sharing his talents, his laughter, and his love for family and music.

A gifted musician and songwriter, Armando’s passion for melody and storytelling touched everyone who knew him. His songs reflected his deep love for life, culture, and the people around him.

Armando leaves behind his beloved sisters and brothers, cherished children and grandchildren, and many dear friends who will forever remember his creativity, warmth, and generous spirit.

Though he may be gone from our sight, his music, his kindness, and his legacy will continue to echo in our hearts.

May he rest in eternal peace.
