Peter N. Petroff passed away on Thursday January 18, 2024 at Morristown Medical Center. He was 82. Peter was born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria before immigrating to the United States in 1967 with his brother Dimiter. He settled in Whippany where he lived with his family. He was a self employed electrician who owned and operated Petroff Power for many years until he retired. He was a chess whiz and a fan of watching soccer games and tennis matches. His favorite pastimes were spending time at the local pubs and being with his family. Peter is predeceased by his parents Nicola and Maria Petrov, sister Assia, brother Dimiter, and his companion Dora. He is survived by his children Nicole and Dave Grignon, Monica and Tony Contessa and Peter Petroff. Also by his loving grandchildren Ava, Anthony, Noel, Summer, and Olivia. He will forever be missed. His family will have a private celebration of life for Peter in the near future before he makes his final journey back to Bulgaria to rest in peace with his family there.
