Maureen Brown (née Casper) born on August 16, 1945 (78), passed away peacefully on June 24, 2024, surrounded by family and friends coupled with her profound faith in God. She was born in Drexel Hill, PA and raised in Kirkwood, NJ, then later raised her three children in Gibbsboro, NJ. Maureen was a beloved educator, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. Maureen's dedication to nurturing young minds spanned 36 years as a second-grade teacher at Clementon Elementary School. She inspired countless students with her warmth, creativity, and passion for learning. After retiring in 2005, Maureen embraced her new role as "Grandmom" with the same enthusiasm she brought to the classroom. She cherished spending time with her four grandchildren, Evan Buckley (18), Zachary Brown (17), Sarah Buckley (16), and Jonathan Brown (14), and will be forever remembered for her kindness, love, and unwavering support in anything they did until the very end. Maureen is survived by her only sibling, Dr. Jacqueline Agostini (née Casper) brother-in-law Marco Agostini, Sr., her three loving children, Roseanne Buckley (née Brown) and twin sons Gregory Brown and Daniel Brown, as well as her nieces and nephews all of whom will miss her dearly. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday July 2, 2024, at Epworth Methodist Church in Palmyra, NJ. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 am with the memorial service immediately following. In lieu of flowers, children's book donations can be made in Maureen's memory to a local elementary school or public library, Sacred Heart Church in Camden or to the Autism Speaks Foundation.
