Joseph Cecere, Sr. of North Caldwell, NJ died on Monday September 11th. He was 77 years old. He was married for 54 years to his wife and soulmate, Rosann. Roe passed away just 3 short months ago. Joe is survived by his two sons, Joseph, Jr. and his wife Donna, Michael and his wife Michele, grandchildren Anthony, Ashley and Alyssa and cousins Loretta and Rodney Bottone. Joe was a meatcutter until 1982. He was hit by a car which forced him to retire at a young age. He enjoyed spending time with family. Whenever someone would visit their home, they would find him with a smile on his face and listening to his favorite 50's music. His strength and compassion left a mark on all who knew him. Joe will be cremated privately. A private celebration of life will be held with close family and friends on Saturday, September 30th.
