Boyd Jack Hetrick, 68, died March 7 of complications from a lifetime of smoking. Hetrick was born in Waynesboro, VA and lived in various states. He had a natural artistic talent that he used in many ways. One of his paintings of television star Dan Haggerty on a motorcycle was featured on the cable show American Pickers. Hetrick moved to Gettysburg in 2014. He was the son of Glen and Marjorie Hetrick, who are deceased. He is survived by one sister and three brothers: Joy Kraft of Los Angeles, CA; Dale Hetrick of Riverdale, MD; Ross Hetrick of Gettysburg and Mark Hetrick of Greensboro, NC. In memory of Hetrick, stop smoking if you do or urge a smoker to stop.
