Obituary

Walter Lee Wilhoit was a man full of life and ambition. He had a deep love for singing and took great pleasure playing the guitar, along with other musical instruments, as it was one of the greatest passions in his life. He also loved to dance and was happiest gliding across the dance floor with any woman willing to share a song. He was always ready to enjoy a good party or attend events in proper attire where could be surrounded by people and a fun atmosphere.

Known for his sense of humor, Walter truly enjoyed making people laugh and he always had a story to tell of his adventures throughout his life, good or bad, funny or sad. He seemed to find humor in all his stories. He had a kind heart and was always willing to be there for others. As a man of many skills, he was always willing and able to lend a helping hand. His generosity, friendliness, and genuine spirit will leave a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. Walter will be remembered for his love of music, his kindness, and humor. He will be missed by his surviving brothers and sister, Michael L. Wilhoit, Timothy R. Wilhoit, and Kimberly A. Irving. He will be missed dearly until we meet again in Heaven.
