Celebrating the Life of Robert Young

Sunrise: May 15, 1948 - Sunset: March 21, 2026

Robert was born in Long Branch, New Jersey, lived in Asbury Park, but later moved to Paterson NJ, at a young age. He then attended public schools and graduated from Eastside High School.

He later worked for Lombardi Teamster Union 469, driving the cement truck for many years before retiring.

Robert was a very loving and caring person. He loved communing with family and friends in person and on the phone. He was kind with a great sense of humor. He was charming with a "gift to gab" and never met a stranger. He loved reading and working with numbers. As a child he loved assembling car kits. Robert was mechanically inclined. Later in life, he was a mechanic, always working on his car or other cars as well! He loved old cars and always bought old cars. He enjoyed going to the racetracks for fun and entertainment.

Robert leaves to cherish memories: a sister; Patricia Mosley (Charles), love of his life; Cindy Wiles, nephew; Charles Mosley III, great nephew; Zavion Mosley, and great niece; Cierra Mosley. Also, a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

We will remember and cherish him in our hearts forever!
