Obituary
Lisa Nicole Saed (née Conover), 40, passed away on June 3, 2026, after living gracefully and fiercely with colorectal cancer for four years. She lived life fully on her terms and loved deeply until the very end.
Born in Mount Holly, New Jersey and raised in Shamong, New Jersey, Lisa was a 2004 graduate of Shawnee High School and a 2008 graduate of Ramapo College of New Jersey. It was in San Francisco, California that she met the love of her life, and she went on to make her home in New York City with her beloved husband, Yousef Saed.
Lisa’s professional life was defined by connection and creativity. Whether she was bringing joy to children at Toys"R"Us, helping people find their style at GAP Inc. in San Francisco, or spending a decade at Google helping people connect with technology, Lisa brought her signature heart and dedication to everything she did.
Outside of work, Lisa embraced life with a warmth that made her new friends quickly and a quick wit anchored by her love of a good joke. She was a true appreciator of beauty in all its forms, which showed in her own paintings, her love of museums, and her vibrant taste in music ranging from oldies like Frankie Valli to classics like ABBA, while always eagerly awaiting each new Taylor Swift release. Adventurous and full of joy, she loved hitting the ski slopes, casting a line in Absecon Bay, exploring the world through international travel from Bermuda to Tokyo, and savoring everything from Michelin-starred cuisine to hot dogs to a great cup of coffee. She also gave generously of her time to local communities. Above all, she cherished every moment spent creating memories with the people she loved most – family, friends, and colleagues alike.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Yousef Saed; her parents, Cheryl and Lou Conover; her brothers, Matt (Ryan) and Jon; her sister, Marianne Keller (Dalton); her nieces, Adelaide, Flynn, and Mae; her nephews, Cap and James; and a wide circle of beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Her family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Dr. Kirsten Manges, Dr. Nancy Chung, Dr. Andrew Epstein, the staff of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center NYC and Samaritan Hospice of Moorestown, NJ, for the extraordinary care and compassion given to Lisa and her family throughout her illness.
Please reach out directly to the family for details if you are interested in attending her upcoming Celebration of Life in mid-July.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider making a donation in Lisa's memory. Contributions can be directed to Project CURE CRC for colorectal cancer-specific research, or to Colontown, an organization that provided indispensable education and community for Lisa, her family, and fellow patients. Donations may also be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center or the V Foundation.
Condolences
