Kevin was a long time good friend. We met at a young age and maintained a friendship throughout the years. Although we lost contact when he moved to cali, I never forgot about Kevin and always hoped and wished the best for him. Our hang outs, daily chats and talks of hip hop are cherished memories to me. I feel honored I was able to meet and get close to a good hearted person. He was truly a gentleman and intelligent person. A great talker with a big smile that Ill remember forever. Rip to a good friend and man! Until we meet again!

I knew Kevin for many years. We met when I was substitute teaching at Bogota High School. I noticed in him, a very bright, caring, sensitive young man who was quick to answer, and then wanted to explore at a deeper level, whatever topic we happened to be covering. After he graduated, he would occasionally text me to let me know where he was, and what he was doing. He knew I was familiar with many different styles of music, and he could have been an accomplished writer about all things hip-hop. He Would fill me in on everything one needed to know about what was happening in that world. I heard from Kevin a few months before he passed and thought how lucky I was to still have a connection with these now adult folks who have so much to offer this life. Kevin's potential will live on in the stars and I hope in whatever form his spirit now resides, that he knows he was and is loved by so many. My deepest condolences to his immediate and extended family.

Oh Kevin, I'm so saddened by your passing. I'll miss our conversations and you knowledge for hip hop music. Your fun energy and genuine concern. I pray you've found peace. Sending all the strength to you family at this difficult time.
