It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gizella Nyiszter on February 20, 2025, at St. Peter’s Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Gizella was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who touched the lives of everyone she met.

Gizella was born on July 22, 1956, and her life was a testament to kindness, resilience, and love. She was the heart of her family, a guiding light who brought warmth and joy wherever she went. Her smile could brighten any room, her laughter was contagious, and her love was unconditional.

She is survived by her devoted husband John Nyiszter, two cherished daughters Christine McCafferty, and Nicole Davis, two son in laws, Shawn McCafferty and Justin Davis and two precious granddaughters Vivian and Sophia, all of whom she loved with all her heart. Gizella found immense joy in spending time with her family, creating memories that will be treasured forever. She embraced life with passion, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, generosity, and unwavering strength.

Her absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Gizella will be remembered for her boundless love, her ability to lift the spirits of others, and the beautiful example she set of a life well-lived.

A celebration of Gizella’s life will be held on Tuesday, February 25th, 2025 in private.

She will be deeply missed, but her love and light will continue to shine in all of the lives she touched.
