Obituary
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Fernando Enrique Lopez, who departed peacefully from this life on November 8, 2025, at the age of 81. He was surrounded by the love and comfort of his cherished family and dear friends in his final moments.
Fernando's memory will be forever treasured by his devoted children: his loving daughter, Joaquina Maria Rodriguez, who resides in Japan with her husband, David Rodriguez; his two beloved sons, Fernando Edwin Lopez, of Blackwood, and his wife, Tania Lopez; and Freddie Mora, of Millville, and his wife, Gena Mora.
He was a proud and doting grandfather to Lisa Marie Mora, Kalee Sooy (and her husband, Josh Sooy), Malia-Joy Mora, Louis R. Valero (and his wife, Laura Valero), Anthony Valero (and his wife, Stephanie Espinoza Valero), and Jacob Mora, Matthew Rodriguez, Andrew Rodriguez, Stephen Rodriguez.Fernando was also blessed with the joy of several great-grandchildren, including Michael Mora (son of Lisa Marie Mora), and Valentina Valero and Anthony Valero Jr. (children of Anthony Valero and Stephanie Espinoza Valero).
Fernando Enrique Lopez will be remembered for his warmth, his generous spirit, and his enduring love for his family. His presence brought joy to many, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He now embarks on his final journey to be reunited with his beloved wife Ana Lia Lopez, with whom he shared over five decades of an extraordinary life. Their profound connection, a true testament to enduring love, blossomed and deepened through more than fifty years of marriage. Her passing on October 22, 2022, left a space in his heart that only this peaceful reunion could mend, and we find solace in the certainty of their eternal embrace.
In this time of profound grief, we can find a small measure of solace in the thought that he is now at peace, and, perhaps most significantly, reunited with his dear grandson, Michael A. Valero. Michael, who we sadly lost on January 31, 2012, held a very special place in his heart. It is comforting to imagine their spirits rejoining, sharing an eternal embrace that transcends earthly partings. Their bond, enduring and unconditional, continues in a realm beyond our sight, bringing a gentle warmth to our hearts.
May he rest in eternal peace.
