Obituary

Beloved Mother and Sister Eileen Herold, aged 70, a resident of Madison, NJ, formerly Florham Park, NJ, died February 18, 2025. Born in Neptune, NJ on July 31,1954 to the late Robert Joseph Herold and Mary Carol (Glavin) Herold, she graduated from Hanover Park High school to pursue a career in chemical product development. She also worked as a bookkeeper for several years.

Eileen was a free spirit who could turn any mundane day into a celebration. She had a passion for cooking, collecting art, music, animals and nature. Her greatest joy in life was raising her two children. She adored all of her nieces and nephews, and loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Joseph Herold and Joseph Michael Herold, and her sister Jeanne Marie Galvin. She is survived by her daughter Lynn Copeland and partner Matthew Jirgal, her son Paul Michael Copeland and wife Elizabeth Copeland, her Sister Carolanne Miller and husband Daniel Miller, and her Brother James Michael Herold.
