Obituary

Caroline, known to everyone as “Aunt Vera”, was born in Dumbarton Scotland on July 20,1938. She passed away peacefully on February 8, 2025 in Venice FL. She was a cherished sister to Anne Woods and Ellen Mahoney. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews throughout Scotland, Ireland and the United States. Aunt Vera was a dedicated employee for the First National Bank of Long Island in New York and retired as branch manager. She had a passion for reading books and sitting by the water, reading and listening to the waves. Although she never had children of her own, she was a devoted and loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will deeply be missed by all.
