Obituary
Albert F. Ebert, III., 62, of Pottsville, passed away at home on April 30, 2026.
Born on May 11, 1963, in Pottsville, he was the son of the late Albert F. Ebert, Jr. and Ethel Bennethum. Albert was raised in Pottsville and graduated from Pottsville High School as well as the South Campus of the Schuylkill Technology Center, where he studied autobody repair.
Albert worked for many years as a forklift operator at Crafttex in Auburn and later as a custodian for the Wegmans warehouse in Pottsville.
He was known for always helping others before asking for help himself. Albert enjoyed camping, the outdoors, working on automobiles, and home improvement projects. He especially loved family water battles, making sure everyone got soaked while sharing laughter and fun together. He also dearly loved his cats — Panther, Oreo, Tiger, Angel, Mister Fluff, Lucky, Tux, and Ozzie — with Ozzie faithfully remaining by Albert’s side during his illness.
Albert is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Ebert; his daughters, Faithann of Indiana and Hope of Hazleton, PA; and his cherished grandchildren, William and Olivia.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Alice and Shirley, and his brother, Harry.
Private services will be held. Friends and family may reach out to Patricia Ebert for additional information.
