It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the death of our beloved Steven Reddington (Stevie Ray and Redd), 35, of Bordentown NJ who passed away three weeks shy of his 36th birthday. Steven was born December 31st 1988 to Denise and Thomas Reddington in Newark NJ. He worked for many years as an HVAC technician traveling in NJ and PA. Steven was an avid lover of fashion, collecting an array hats and pairs of shoes to go with each outfit. He loved music and going to outdoor concerts and festivals with his family. Steven could often be found on a beach, watching the game at a bar, or rollerblading around Asbury Park with his dog. He was a sweet kid with a huge heart and could turn anyone’s day around with a hug. He would do anything he could for his friends and family. And of course, he was a hockey enthusiast. He played for decades on many roller and ice hockey teams. A New Jersey Devils fan he frequented games throughout most of his life. When he wasn’t able to attend in person, he could be found watching the games on his phone. He is survived by his father Thomas Reddington, sister Tara Reddington and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is missed profoundly by those who knew him and loved him. He is predeceased by his mom Denise Reddington, who welcomed him home with open arms.
