On July 3rd, 2021, our beloved Rene Jimenez passed away at home peacefully into God’s graces. Born November 21st, 1960, he was raised a Keyport native, well known and loved by his community. Rene is survived by his loving mother, Monica Jimenez, his brothers Raul, Ray and Roy Jimenez, his sister Raquel Bonsignore and their spouses. He was predeceased by his father, Raul Jimenez Sr. Rene was also the best uncle to his many nieces and nephews, loved by his aunts and uncles, known as a favorite cousin and a loyal friend. He was also the best “fur dad” that anyone could ask for; leaving behind his dog, Maui that he loved dearly. His fun and uplifting spirit will live on with those who love him. Per his request, Rene will be cremated. The family will be hosting a memorial service on Sunday, July 11th, 2021 at the Raritan Hose Co. located at 1893 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735 from 1pm-4pm. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to his mother, Monica as he would have wanted.
