Patricia A Piegaro

Date of Death: May 16, 2018
Bayville, NJ
It is with great sadness that the family of Patricia (Scranton) Piegaro announces her passing, Wednesday, May 16. She departed fully at peace, to join her cherished husband, the late Nick (Poppy) Piegaro in heaven. May they both rest in peace. Patricia was lovingly tended to by the amazing staff at St. Anne's PeaceCare, Jersey City, before her death. We shall forever be in their debt. Adored mom to Colleen (Piegaro) Coldon and husband Jeff Coldon, Tricia (Piegaro) Friedericks, and the late Cindi (Piegaro) Caponegro. Born in Newark, Patricia and Nick were active, well-known residents of Hillside before retiring to their beach home in Bayville. In 1998 they followed their dreams of living year-round at their home in Fort Myers, FL., where they were welcomed and loved by 100's of friends. Her proudest accomplishments were her 3 daughters, and beloved grandchildren; Nicholas, Lauren, Gregory and Amanda Caponegro, Austin and Kim Coldon, and Ted, Trent, Tressa and Tabitha Friedericks. Patricia was further overjoyed upon the arrival of her 3 great-grandchildren, Mia Caponegro (6), and Hunter (1) and Owen (2 months) Friedericks. She will be sorely missed by her surviving siblings, Sister Marion Scranton, Sr. Judy Scranton and brother John. Patricia is predeceased by her sister Shirley Weiss and big brother Raymond. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, May 25 th, 11 am at The Church of the Annunciation, 50 West Midland Avenue, Paramus, NJ 07652. Please join us for a memorial luncheon celebrating her life, immediately following mass, to be held at Hasbrouck Heights Veterans Hall, 513 Veterans Place, Hasbrouck Heights, Nj 07604.
