On May 10, 2020, Noemi Garcia passed away after a 4-week battle with COVID-19. She was 61 years old. Born in Newark, NJ, Noemi worked for the State of New Jersey's Court System for 29 years before retiring in November 2018. She spent her retirement with family and friends while doing the things she enjoyed most including: spending time with her daughter, going to the beach, vacationing, shopping, comedy club nights out, brunches and more. Noemi is survived by her beloved daughter Jaimie Diaz, her brother Gilberto Garcia and her sisters Judith Edwards, Virginia Karunphand, Ana Garcia and Gladys Garcia.
