Mary H.M. Paterson, 93, of Southampton, PA and Cape May CH NJ, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2021. Mary is survived by her 3 sons Derek, Alexander "Sandy" and Robert “Scott” and her three daughters-in-law Donna, Kristen and Ann. She was the loving grandmother of; Kelli Paterson, Kevin Paterson (Tegan), Kristopher Paterson, Derek Paterson (Stacy), Amanda Moyer (Will), and Graham Paterson. Mary was also blessed to be Gigi to her 11 great grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, James Paterson and son James Graham Paterson. Mary was a force… She loved a good party, a good card game, a good book and a good scotch. Mary loved to sing and always did so for a crowd at numerous Robbie Burns suppers at the Royal British Legion, where she was a past Ladies Auxiliary president. She did not take lightly to her accent being recognized as anything but Scottish. Mary loved visits from her grandchildren and many a summer night was spent on the deck talking and laughing into the wee hours. A private memorial service for Mary is being planned for spring/summer of 2021.
