Joseph P Monaghan, age 61, of Forked River NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on 12/04/2019. Joseph was born in Shenadoah PA in 1958 to Hazel Hinderliter and Patrick Monaghan. He worked construction for the first half of his adult life building many places still standing in Seaside Park and Heights. He later went on to become a professional house painter which he mastered quickly. He is survived by his children Valerie (Gerald) Vergallito, Joseph (Elaine) Monaghan Jr. and Jessie Monaghan; ex wife Teresa Castor; 6 grandchildren Jared, Isabella, Shawn, Colin, Aiden and Mackenzie; siblings Kerry, Mary, Theresa; and many nieces and nephews. Joseph was preceded in death by both parents and his brothers Patrick and Tim.
