Johanna “Joann” passed away peacefully at the Little Brook Nursing Home in Califon, NJ. Formerly from Hopatcong, NJ. Joann was born on December 23, 1929 in Cedar Knolls, NJ. The daughter of Edna Burnette and Cornelius Doyle. She was married to the late Carlton A. Phelps for 22 years. Joann was a high school graduate and worked as a school bus driver at Byram Bus and later at Kevah Konner Inc. She was a devoted grandmother with a healthy sense of humor and always found the good in others. She is survived by her 2 Daughters, Deborah A Lorusso of Bath, PA and Tracey P Arnone and her husband Andrew “Drew” of Califon, NJ; 2 loving grandchildren Tabatha and Kevin; A sister Jean (George) Ike of Mt. Bethel, PA and a brother Vincent (Leslie) Meissner of Bath, PA and many nieces and nephews. A private memorial will be held at later date.
