Irek (Ireneusz) Cabanski of South Amboy, NJ, passed away on February 25, 2022. Irek was born in 1945 in Lachtorzew, near Warsaw, Poland. He arrived in the USA in 1984 to embark on a better life, pursuit of the ‘American Dream’. Irek was a resourceful, skilled individual and an expert plumber. He was an avid fisherman and collector of rare objects and memorabilia. Irek was predeceased in 2021 by his beloved wife, Maria J Cabanski. He will be buried next to her in Warsaw, Poland. Irek was cared for and loved by his close friends who were there with him into his final days.
