Gloria Jean Eichenberger, 74, of New Brighton, PA, passed away on June 30, 2023, in her hometown. Gloria was born on April 18, 1949, in New Brighton, PA, to the late William H. Eichenberger and Adeline Byrnes Eichenberger. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, her brother, William Eichenberger, her unnamed twin sister, and her niece, Jacklyn McMillan Hoffman. Gloria will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her surviving family members: Sisters: Margaret (Ralph) Catanzarite, Shirley Eichenberger, Marjorie Keck; and Brothers: James Eichenberger, Richard (De) Eichenberger, and Jeffrey (Kerri) Eichenberger; also, nieces and nephews: Sumer Dey Heathcock, Kathleen McDanel, William James Eichenberger, Mark Eichenberger, Timothy Keck, Ashley Eichenberger, Tara Donnelly, Robert Foeks, Jeff Andri, Drew Eichenberger, Nick Eichenberger, Samantha Eichenberger, Amanda Wanninger, Maranda Visnesky; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. She always enjoyed visiting with her many cousins and their children. In her free time, Gloria enjoyed writing and watching TV. These hobbies brought her joy and allowed her to express her creativity and relax. She always looked forward to holidays, visiting with family, and was always dressed for the occasion. She was a big Steelers fan. She never forgot anyone's birthday and always had a home-made card for them. Although she had limited education (due to her disabilities) she would study the spelling of words from newspapers and magazines so that she could write her cards and her book. She was an amazing person with an amazing mind and memory. The memory of Gloria Jean Eichenberger will forever remain in the hearts of her loved ones. She will be remembered for her extraordinarily kind spirit, her love for writing, and her enjoyment of watching TV. May she rest in peace. A Celebration of Life Memorial in Gloria's honor will be held at the North Sewickley VFD Social Hall (893 Mercer Road, Beaver Falls, PA) on Thursday, July 6, 2023 between the hours of 2:00 and 4:00pm.
