Edward R. Whitney, 72, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away on June 11, 2019. An active and life member of the American Legion Post 450, Pequannock, NJ, life member of the Marine Corps League, Slattery Detachment and the Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 510, and a Board Member of the United States Selective Service System, Eddie was a patriot who loved his country. Eddie worked in Engineering/ Maintenance for many years. He could do a little bit of everything. Eddie and his wife, JoAnn, liked to travel, go on cruises, and spend time with family. He will be missed by his wife, JoAnn, daughter, Erin, son, Brian, grandsons, Andy and Matt, granddaughter, Emily, and many brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews.
