Donald E Sloan aged 70 of Forks Twp. PA passed away Monday September 23rd 2024 at St. Luke’s Hospital Anderson. Born to Fredrick and Dorothy Mattis Sloan of Lebanon, NJ. He was a graduate of the North Hunterdon High School class of 1973. He was employed by Clinton Twp. school district in Lebanon, NJ from 1973-2007. As a Maintenance Supervisor. After his retirement, he was employed by Gary W Gray Trucking in Columbia, NJ. In most recent years he enjoyed working part time at the Lowe’s in Easton. Survivors include his wife, Cynthia. A son, Donald E Sloan Jr. Step children. Alyson McGowan, Ashley Attanasio Kelly and Thomas Attanasio. 4 grand children which he adored. Kora Flizack Sloan, Ava J. McGowan. Jaxson A. McGowan and Raegan J. Kelly. Sister in law, Kelly McPherson. Brother in law, Brian McPherson. Niece, Rebecca McPherson and nephew, Brian McPherson Jr. Don was predeceased by sons, David B. Sloan and Drew C. Sloan. Don loved NASCAR (Especially Bill and Chase Elliott) caring for his home. And his many dogs. Anyone that knew Don… Knew he was a simple man. His wishes were to be cremated with a memorial service to be announced at a later date.
