DANA LEE CSINK August 15, 1988 – November 2, 2021 Dana passed away at Cooper Hospital in Camden, NJ, on November 2, 2021 of cardiovascular disease after a long struggle with mental illness and addiction. She was always kind-hearted to both people and animals and had a wicked sense of humor with an appreciation of the ironic. Since early childhood, Dana had a gift for listening with her heart to those in emotional pain and loved helping the elderly and chronically ill. She was always ready to lend a hand to those who were struggling alone. Dana was blessed with artistic talent as well: she created many beautiful jewelry items, drawings, paintings, and household objects, and she could clean and organize homes with minimalist style perfection. On the night before her death, Dana shared her intention to enter a long-term treatment program for the sake of her beloved children, Gianna and Evan Ortiz. She had hoped to make amends for the pain she caused them and all those she loved. In addition to her children, Dana is survived by her mother, Patricia Byrne, her adoptive siblings, Rachel Byrne, Andrew Thomas, David Csink, Dori Csink, Jenna Byrne, and Christopher Forsyth, and her biological siblings, Tina, Lisa, and Charlene Forsyth, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She is predeceased by her father, Gustav Csink. We who love her pray Dana is at peace and that angels surround and comfort her.
