Cynthia Loniak Perlman of Woodbridge NJ passed into eternal life on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. Surviving are her daughter, Jesse Perlman of New Jersey and Los Angeles, CA, husband, David Perlman of Paramus, NJ, brother Dennis Loniak of Bedminster, NJ and sister Judith Loniak of Asheville, NC.  Cynthia was born on January 11, 1953 to Henry and Dorothy Loniak. She graduated Glassboro State College (now Rowan University) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts English and her gentle and compassionate nature enabled her to become an English Teacher. She transitioned careers after marrying and managed the the family business which consisted of multiple successful hair salons in Bergen County. She gave birth to her daughter who was the love of her life and apple of her eye. Cynthia was an avid reader, writer, marketer, animal advocate, and took great care in rescuing and rehoming cats. Cynthia also enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, exercising, and traveling. Lastly, she was a fashionista through and through, and was a trend setter with her avant- guard energy. Through all of her struggles, Cynthia never stopped sharing her kindness and care for others, putting their needs ahead of her own.  She loved her family and friends more than anything, and having her in our lives was a privilege, and sacred gift.  So many of us will miss her terribly and life will not be the same without her. Thank you, Cynthia, for the gift of love that you shared with us every day. Please join us for a funeral Mass in remembrance of our sweet Cynthia at Saint James Catholic Church located at 149 Grove St, Woodbridge, NJ 07095 on Saturday, May 20th, 2023 at 10 o’clock AM.
