Cheryl Phillips, 50, of Allentown, PA passed away Saturday December 3, 2022 after suffering a traumatic brain injury. Cheryl was born on January 23, 1972 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Mary Ann Altare and Frederick Phillips. Cheryl is survived by her beloved partner Efrain (Frankie) Santos and was the loving mother to daughter Summer Rain Santos. Cheryl is also survived by sisters: Lillian Phillips, Catherine Staszko, Virginia Price, Denise Frederick, Kelly Melchiore, Danielle Pavoni and Brother Richard Phillips. Cheryl is survived by dozens of nieces, nephews and many lifelong friends. Cheryl is preceded in death by siblings Michael Lepouski, Richard Altare, Rosetta Phillips, Harriett Slimmer and Buddy Phillips. Cheryl’s friends and family will miss her kind and caring spirit. Cheryl was always willing to be there for others, especially for her daughter, Summer. When you enjoy your next Coke, or ice cream, or a Rock song from the 80’s you will be reminded of Cheryl. Cheryl left behind not only her caring spirit yet, a lesson on tenacity and courage. Cheryl fought a battle struggling with addiction and depression and fought hard. Her legacy will live on forever as her unselfish gesture as an organ donor, saved lives. Friends and relatives are invited to celebrate her life on Saturday May 6, 2022 with visitation at 11:00 at Grace Baptist Church, 4544 Almond street Philadelphia, PA 19137. Memorial Service to follow at Noon. Memories will continue to be shared at a reception following the services in the Church Hall.
