Carol A Rynex (Majkowski) 60 of Atco, passed away peacefully on July 18 after a courageous 3+ year battle with Metastatic Breast Cancer. She had been in remission for 16 years. Carol will be sadly missed by her loving family, Stephen Rynex Sr., Stephen Rynex Jr. and Andrew Rynex, her mother Dolores Majkowski, sisters Barbara Bowen, Diane Murphy (Charles), Jacqueline La France (Joseph), sister-in-law Susan Rynex, many nieces, nephews, and friends. Carol grew up in Northeast Philadelphia and attended St. Martin the Tours grade school and Little Flower High School. She graduated from The Philadelphia Art Institute with a degree in Graphic Design, a discipline in which she excelled. After working within the industry, she decided it was time to open her own business, Kandy Graphics a full-service public relation, graphic design studio and ad agency in Merchantville NJ. She worked with numerous high-profile clients and companies. One of her favorites was WEA (Warner Electra Atlantic) records. She enjoyed most working with album designs and collateral materials. Prince was one of her favorite projects. Moving to Atco NJ in the early nineties while downsizing Kandy Graphics, she determined it was time for her time to start her family with sons Stephen Jr. and Andrew to follow. Her boys were the light of her life. She worked from home in order to provide her daily maternal nurturing. This also gave her the opportunity to purchase Chocolate Pretzel Heaven, where she worked tirelessly. She also enjoyed travel to Alaska, Barbados, Bahamas, Mexico, UK and other US spots. But her favorite was going to her grandmother's farm in Dorothy, NJ during the summers while growing up. Carol was always a very spiritual person, by being a eucharistic minister and spearheading the St. Peregrine Cancer Spiritual Support Ministry at Christ the Redeemer parish. She was always there to lend a helping hand. She will be missed by many...... A Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday July 28th at 11:00 am at Christ the Redeemer Parish Atco The family would like to thank the caregivers from Samaritan Hospice, especially Marchada Murphy whose care and compassion exemplified hospice service.
