Barbara Kwei-Adjei was born on August 29 1956 In Newark, New Jersey. A long time resident of Newark, Barbara graduated from Weequahic High School in 1974. She earned her Bachelor degree from Rutgers University. She was employed at the Newark Board of Education and Newark Beth Israel Medical Medical Center. She loved cooking, reading, writing and praying to her God, Jehovah. She also loved being a grandmother. She was loved and will be greatly missed. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Samuel, mother Patsy, daughter Kenya and son in law Eric and grandchildren Timothy, Jessica, Kellie and Caleb along with a host of other relatives and friends.
