Allan Philip Fischer, 76, of Barnegat, NJ peacefully passed away at home, on July 17th, 2023, after a 2-year battle with esophageal cancer. Allan was born in Long Island, NY to Jack and Jeanie (Gunn) Fischer. Al met his wife, Karen (Beddow) in 1968, and they were married February 15th, 1970. They dedicated their lives together in baptism to serving their god Jehovah on May 10th, 1974, and he remained faithful until his death, his wife faithful by his side. Al was passionate about car racing in his younger days, often spending weekends with Karen at the track. He loved nothing more than working in his garage. As he always stated, he was a Jack of all Trades, Master of None. Spending his working years as a Wastewater Engineer, traveling the globe, he also loved being a 'weekend warrior' when he was at home, and loved to share any knowledge he had with any and all that he could. He spent most of his retirement helping to care for others, growing tomatoes, tinkering when he could and playing Spider Solitaire. Al was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Jeanie. He leaves behind his wife Karen, his two children, Michael Allan (Tanya) Fischer, Keri-Ann Fischer, and grandchildren, Logan (Sara) Ingerman, and Morgen Fischer, and Ethan and Avery Fischer, and his brother John (Linda) Fischer and family. He was very excited to become a Great-Grandfather to Lena Noelle Ingerman. No services will be held at this time and the family requests no donations or flowers be sent. There will be a private spreading of the ashes and family service held later, per his request.
