Eric James Burnworth, 49, of Ogdensburg, New Jersey, passed away in the hospital after a long battle with cancer. Mr. Burnworth was a 1993 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School in Austintown, Ohio. He attended Youngstown State University before moving on to a career in the fitness industry, where Eric served as a Director of Operations in Dallas, Texas. He moved to New Jersey and served as a Vice President of Technological Services for Landice Inc. Eric is survived by his wife of 29 years, Dayna (Von Thaer) Burnworth, and his beloved three children: Stefan and his fiancée Madison Howe (Dallas, TX), Alec (Cedar Rapids, Iowa), and Bella (New Brunswick, NJ). The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses caring for Eric, including his oncology and radiology team at the Sparta Cancer Center, for their professionalism, kindness, and limitless compassion during this difficult time. At his request, Eric will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date for family and friends.
