Obituary for Daniel P Kirkley   Daniel P. Kirkley, age 34, of Wilmington, DE passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024. Daniel was born on December 15, 1989, in San Diego, California, son of Doris J. Kirkley. Daniel was the brightest and most loving individual you could meet. My nickname for him as a child was “my sunshine”. No matter was what going on in my day he always brightened it with the happiest smile. Daniel was always the brightest in his class. He received a scholarship at New Mexico State University where he got his bachelor’s degree. Daniel was known for his passion for fast cars (like his beloved GTO) and off roading in his Jeeps. He will be missed and continually loved by those who knew him. Those left to cherish Daniel’s memory include: his mother Doris J. Kirkley, Wilmington, DE, two Uncle’s, an Aunt, several cousins and numerous friends who loved and cherished him as well. He was known to his friends as “Kirk”. Daniel was preceded in death by his grandmother, Melvine L Kirkley; his grandfather Richard L Kirkley; his Uncle’s Richard “Dicky” J. Kirkley and Fred L. Kirkley. Danny, will never forget you ❤️🙏🏻
