A weary traveler who journeyed down many hard roads is now at peace, the peace her Savior, Jesus, won for her through the cross. Cheryl’s sweet southern smile and comforting words will be missed by all who knew her. Born on February 10, 1950, to Lynelle Minton (Gibson) and Rueben Minton, Cheryl was later adopted by the Schultz family. A proud Texas native, she was able to reunite with her biological father before his passing, though she never had the chance to find her mother. It is our hope that now, she is joyously reunited with her. For all the years she was lost, we are certain that she is now found. We love you, mom. Cheryl leaves behind her beloved brother, Anthony J. Schultz; two sons, James Chaney and Jeff Simpson; two daughters, Lori (Joe) Warnick and Amanda (Mike) Bumgardner; seven grandchildren, Elissa Simpson, Jacob (Cynthia), Joey Dean, and Bethany Warnick, Zane and Emma Bumgardner; and one great-granddaughter, Ava Warnick.
