Obituary

Bruce Wayne Perowski, 60, of Stockertown, Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, surrounded by love at St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus.

Born on February 1, 1965, in Millville, New Jersey, Bruce was the son of the late Patrick Henry Perowski and Betty Marie (Wells) Perowski. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Michelle Eileen Perowski-Lancaster.

Bruce proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Gulf War, an experience that shaped his strength, humor, and deep appreciation for life. Bruce found a second home at Sawmill Golf Course in Stockertown, where he worked for 19 years. Bruce truly loved his work, the people he met there, and the game itself. As a dedicated member of the Sawmill Golf League, he took great pride in every round he played—and in the friendships he built along the way.

Those who knew Bruce will remember his kind heart, his easy smile, and his quiet sense of humor. He had a lifelong love for animals, giving a home to many over the years, most recently his cat, Chloe, and his faithful Rottweiler, Diana. But more than anything, Bruce’s greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandsons, who brought endless laughter and light into his life.

Bruce is survived by his loving wife, Betty Perowski of Stockertown, PA; his daughter, Cynthia (Andy) Brown of Washington, PA; his sons, Patrick Perowski of Bethlehem, PA, and Bruce Perowski Jr. of Phillipsburg, NJ; and his stepson, Ryan (Hannah) Leiman of Easton, PA. He was the proud grandfather of Jaxson and Jordan Brown and Mason Perowski, and the beloved brother of Charles (Kim) Perowski of Phillipsburg, NJ, and Regina (Buddy) Treybig of Matagorda, TX.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date so that family and friends can gather to share stories, laughter, and love in honor of Bruce’s memory.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his kindness, devotion, and the love he gave so freely to all who knew him
